Taking charge of your life

It’s amazing that a lot of the best sellers around the world are books that describe and offer ways to experience life better.

It’s like we are now really feeling the effects of a rapidly changing world and while in many areas we are striving forward, there seems to be a common message of dissatisfaction.

Amazingly, the paradigm shifts continue, with the new focus looking at the power within ourselves to influence our future direction and eliminate the sense of being out of control.

More and more of my readings and my own personal unfolding have supported the power of living in this way.

So what does this actually mean?  (I’ll give you an example. )

Today, people may worry about things often because of fear; fear of losing their job, fear of the kids getting involved in bad things or fear of losing a loved one.

The fear / worry, can lead them to a ‘state’ that in fact tunes them into all things that support or give reason to worry for example certain television programs, media messages or people with the same fears.

In trying to take some control to prevent this, it often leads to actions and thoughts that may in fact be worsening the situation eg. becoming over protective, instilling fear in others, taking advantage of others or becoming selfish, controlling etc.

When using the power within to influence the future means really looking within, becoming aware of what you are actually seeking and finding the strength and way to do and be, to become clearer on your choices, to be secure with your actions and to have no regrets.

It will mean you look at your positive desire to keep loved ones safe or keep your job and then search the actions to achieve this, such as establishing open communication, loving relationships, guidance without control and teaching of better decision making or whatever it takes.

You may be saying, it’s not that easy. Well you may be right, however one thing is for sure, it is possible and there are ways to get you there faster than you think.

There are lots of good books available if you’re interested in exploring further including:

‘The Power of Intention’ by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer

‘The Art of Happiness’ by Dalai Lama and Howard C. Cutler. M.D.

The great thing about these books is that you can either read them from start to finish or select a random page and be surprised by the impact of the message.

Entering into this type of short reading can for just a moment, get you thinking in a different way.

This can become the start of a new journey.

Any way I’ll leave you with one of my own unfoldings;

We are everything

We are all everything

It’s just what part of us we attach ourselves to and identify ourselves with, that prevails.

It’s not the only way.

We can attach ourselves to other aspects and then choose to identify those parts more readily.

We can be anything.

Deep within us lies all we need.
